Timesheet

Fill in the clock times of your week and see hours worked, overtime, missing hours, night hours and alerts about breaks and rest between shifts.

These calculations follow Brazilian labor and tax law (CLT, INSS, IRRF, FGTS) and are valid only for employment contracts in Brazil. Amounts are in Brazilian reais (R$).

Legislation and tables in force on 10/17/2026: 2026 minimum wage, 2026 INSS and IRRF tables and the income tax reduction of Lei 15.270/2025.

This is an estimate for guidance. Collective agreements and individual situations may change the amounts; it does not replace the payslip or advice from an accountant or lawyer.

How the timesheet is calculated

Fill in each day with up to two periods: clock in and break start, then break end and clock out. A period only counts when both of its times are filled in, and a clock out at or before the clock in means the shift crosses midnight, so 22:00 to 05:00 is 7 hours. Leave a day empty if you did not work. The balance of each day is the time worked minus the contracted hours. With the tolerance option on, a balance of up to 10 minutes in either direction is ignored (5 minutes per clock entry, at most 10 minutes per day, CLT art. 58, section 1).

The break is the gap between break start and break end. The calculator raises an alert when you work more than 6 hours with a break shorter than 1 hour, or between 4 and 6 hours with a break shorter than 15 minutes (CLT art. 71). It also checks the rest between the last clock out of one day and the first clock in of the next day, which must be at least 11 hours (CLT art. 66). Example: leaving at 23:00 and returning at 07:00 gives only 8 hours of rest, so the alert appears.

Night hours are those worked between 22:00 and 05:00. Each night minute is paid as 8/7 of a minute, because the night hour lasts 52 minutes and 30 seconds: a shift from 22:00 to 05:00 has 7:00 of night work paid as 8:00. Overtime is the positive balance of each day from Monday to Saturday, paid at 50% more, and an alert appears above 2 hours in a day (art. 59). Hours worked on Sunday are shown separately and valued at 100% more. With a salary, the hourly rate follows the contracted weekly hours you select.

The result is an estimate and is not an official time record: electronic timekeeping systems must follow Portaria MTP 671/2021. Constitutional Amendment 141/2026 reduces the weekly limit to 42 hours from about 16/12/2026, so select the weekly hours that match your contract. Legal basis: CLT arts. 58, section 1, 59, 66, 71, 73 and 74, Constitution art. 7 (XIII and XVI), Portaria MTP 671/2021 and EC 141/2026. Collective agreements and your employer's rules may change these results.
